A Deep Foundation of Legal Knowledge
David A. Wilson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University in 1989 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992. While in law school, David was an Associate Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review and member of the Order of Wig and Robe. Upon graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Henry F. Floyd, Circuit Judge for the State of South Carolina who is now on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. He began practicing law with the Horton Law Firm in 1993 and became a partner in 1995. He started his own practice in May of 2012 so he could devote his time to handling cases for individuals and small businesses in need of a personal attorney.

Eric K. Englebardt embarked on his legal career with a clear goal: to try cases. Over his first 15 years, he handled more than 75 jury trials across South and North Carolina, establishing himself as a seasoned courtroom advocate. His diverse case portfolio includes personal injury, railroad crossing accidents, employment disputes, real estate conflicts, zoning issues, and more, mostly from the defense perspective. This broad experience has earned him recognition in both Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers, and he holds the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV Rating for his legal skills and ethical standards. Since the formation of Wilson & Englebardt, LLC, Eric and David have successfully represented personal injury clients in a variety of trucking, auto, and other liability matters. As the legal landscape evolved at the turn of the century, Eric recognized the increasing need for efficient dispute resolution outside the courtroom. Leveraging his litigation background and personable approach, he became a certified mediator in 1999. Since then, he has mediated over 4,000 cases spanning civil and probate matters, earning accolades as Greenville’s “Mediator of the Year” multiple times. His reputation as both a mediator and arbitrator is well-established, with listings in top legal publications. Eric served as President of the Greenville County Bar Association in 2024 and has held numerous leadership positions within the South Carolina and Greenville Bar associations, reflecting his commitment to the legal community.Education & Professional Background
A proud North Carolina native, Eric earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from the UNC School of Law in 1989, where he served on the Moot Court Board. He has practiced exclusively in Greenville, SC, partnering at renowned firms such as Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Clarkson Walsh, and Turner Padget before co-founding Wilson & Englebardt, LLC in 2016. Eric is admitted to practice in both North and South Carolina.
